A small workshop opens on the street Escultor Llimona in Barcelona and so begins the small-scale production of what would be Hipertin’s first product: the perm lotion called Curly.

The young team at the workshop, passionate about cinema and lovers of beauty, focus their attention on the trends arriving in Spain from Paris and the US.

An expert company in professional hair cosmetics is born, with the aim of becoming a leader.

Amazed at the potential for changing hair colour and rejuvenating the image of women, they focus all their efforts on the invention of a hair colouring cream formula. The incombustible “Altamente Decolorante” product emerges as a result soon after. Aware of the scale of the project, they decide to take a step forward and give the company its ultimate push. Towards the end of the forties, the team was joined by the man who would become the driving force behind the project: Juan Ángeles.

Transfer of the company to a large factory in Barberà del Vallès.
The larger the space, the greater the capacity for innovation and projection.
And all the predictions were fulfilled.

We are reaping the rewards of the International Expansion Plan.

2015. International expansion is already a reality. Established in more than 50 countries around the world.
2016. New machinery: we are multiplying our production capacity and improving adaptability to tube formats.
2017. New reactant cooling equipment.
2018. We continue to invest: new reactants with greater capacity, 3,000 litres.
